 CYSA SOCCERFEST TOURNAMENT (U8-U14)
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3rd
The Ernie Hazeltine SoccerFest is a fun, one day event. It is the perfect way to wrap up your season. Your team will be placed in a group of 3-to-6 teams, and you'll play a half-game against the other teams, for the equivalent of about 2 games spread out from about 9:00am to 3:00pm.
It is open to all Division 4 (Recreational) teams from U8-U14.
Your opponents will be from across District 6. You can request to host. Most teams will travel, but not very far, in most cases. It's a good way to meet teams from other areas.
Host coaches are responsible for making sure their field is lined and nets/flags are put up.
Referees: This season we would like to do SoccerFest without paid referees. Most of them are being used for, or competing in, District cup on the same day. It is difficult to travel with referees, and we want to reduce your expenses. We prefer each team provides a coach or parent to referee the games they are not playing in, and keep things fun, and less formal.
No Guest Players. This is a fun way to end the season for TEAMS. Guest players are not part of the team.
All players will receive a SoccerFest medal for their participation.
